The idea behind this project is that each and every one of us is so much
more complex than the outward appearance we display, and the initial
first-impression label that people may be quick to tag us with.
Man is not a singular entity, but rather a sum of his parts. That behind every face lies a vast, unique combination of life’s experiences, fears, joys, loves, disappointments, ideas, knowledge, beliefs, and all such things that make up a lifetime.
This is a really interesting image and concept, Chris. It exemplifies my approach to a classroom...every student walks into it with a life on their shoulders...I try to be aware of and sensitive to their burdens, beliefs and challenges.
