The Complexity of Man

Photoshop project for GR270

The idea behind this project is that each and every one of us is so much
more complex than the outward appearance we display, and the initial
first-impression label that people may be quick to tag us with.
Man is not a singular entity, but rather a sum of his parts. That behind every face lies a vast, unique combination of life’s experiences, fears, joys, loves, disappointments, ideas, knowledge, beliefs, and all such things that make up a lifetime.

  1. This is a really interesting image and concept, Chris. It exemplifies my approach to a classroom...every student walks into it with a life on their shoulders...I try to be aware of and sensitive to their burdens, beliefs and challenges.
